Indian Air Force Recruitment 2014 – Airmen in Group Y Trade Vacancies: Indian Air Force has issued notification for the recruitment of Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades. Eligible Unmarried Male Indian Citizens (citizens of Nepal are also eligible) can apply in prescribed format on or before 27-01-2014. 1. Ops Assistant
2. Admin Assistant
3. Account Assistant
4. Medical Assistant
4. Logistic Assistant
5. Environmental Support Services Assistant (ESSA)
6. Meteorological Assistant
7. Communication Technician

Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01-02-1994 to 30-11-1997 (both days inclusive). Candidates upper age limit on date of enrollment is 21 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. or two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards/Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test, physical fitness test, interview and medical examination.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format available in the notification along with attested photo copies of Matriculation Passing Certificate in support of Date of Birth, Matriculation Marks Sheet , intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Marks Sheet and Passing Certificate or Marks Sheets and Passing Certificate of two year Vocational Course, three copies of unattested recent passport size colour photograph, one unstamped self addressed 24 cm x 10 cm white Envelope of good quality, stapled/ pinned with the application form, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with ” For Group ‘Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades, Aggregate Percentage of Marks___%, If the candidate is a “Son of Serving/ Discharged/ Deceased Officer/ Airman/ NC(E)/ Air Force Unit Cadre Civilian must write only “SOAFP” in Red Ink (if applicable)”, should reach by ordinary post only to The President, Central Airmen Selection Board, Post Box No. 11807, New Delhi – 110 010 on or before 27-01-2014.
